on this website, please don't hesitate to do so. Unsolicited email and spam will be rejected. Hobbies My main hobby is railway preservation. I own a Class 25 Diesel Locomotive, D7629 (25 279).
For more information,
visit my D7629 page.
The loco is based at the Nottingham Transport Heritage
Centre. I’m heavily involved in operations and events planning at the NTHC.
See my NTHC pages here. I am the founder of the
Type One Locomotive Company Ltd, and was Chairman for 13 years (1990-2003). This is a non-profit organisation dedicated
to Diesel Preservation in the UK. Our locomotives are based at
the Great Central Railway, Loughborough, Leicestershire. I’m an avid pyro-technician (fireworks), with more
than 5 years experience of firing displays of all sizes. I’m happy with event
planning, organisation, fusing & preparation, and firing. Music I guess I'm a bit of a "Goth" really. My all-time
favourite band is All About Eve.

Phased I cannot recommend them enough - give them a listen.
Other interests I live to travel. I have been to much of Europe and
the USA. Highlights have been going to Berlin not long after the wall came down
and a six-week stint in the USA during which time I travelled extensively in
Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia with friends. I enjoy photography and own a Nikon F501 - the best camera I have used so far. Nikon kit is highly recommended - the optics are excellent. I have a passion for skiing, which has taken me to France, Austria and the USA. I also like to walk and cycle. Last Revised:
